We acquired this initial project from GE in 2019 while it was fully permitted and ready-to build. The project itself  includes 33 Cypress wind turbines (5.3 MW) from  GE. Located approximately 470km north of Stockholm, the 175 MW wind farm will generate enough renewable energy to power the equivalent of 175,000 homes in Sweden and will play a significant role supporting the country’s target to become fossil fuel-free by 2040. It benefits from good wind resource and agreements with top-tier contractors for turbine supply, construction and operations and maintenance. Approximately 2/3 of the electricity production will be sold to Google under a long-term PPA. Construction of the project was substantially completed in the summer 2021.

The mid-term objective is to capitalize on this first phase and to position Treblade as a reliable onshore wind power generation in the Nordics.
