FHA is an independent power producer specializing in the acquisition, financing, development and operation of hydroelectric assets in the French Caribbean. We invested in the business in 2010 with a strong conviction on the sector and our ability to support growth and development of new projects to reach critical mass.

At the time of acquisition, FHA owned and operated nine mini-hydroelectric plants and had another three in development, all benefitting of long-term PPAs with EDF.

During our holding period, FHA delivered strong revenue and EBITDA growth driven by significant capacity development combined with operational improvements. At the time of exit in 2019, the business had a total installed capacity in excess of 10 MW diversified across 16 hydroelectric power plants plus an additional 6 MW of ready-to-build capacity.
