Autostrada Wielkopolska was awarded in 2000 a 37-year concession to operate a 150 km section of the A2 motorway between Nowy Tomysl and Konin in Poland (on the Berlin-Warsaw corridor).

A2 was our first investment in 2009 and is a core infrastructure asset with solid fundamentals thanks to prime transportation corridor location as well as strong GDP and macro-economic outlook.

Throughout the holding period, A2 experienced traffic and revenue growth and key area of focus was to manage relationships with regulator and stakeholders at large. Ultimately, the capacity of the company to drive the development of the concession,  maintain the quality of service and deliver on operational improvements were key in the overall performance achieved.
