Tramlink is a consortium that was awarded in 2011 a concession to build, finance and operate the tramway lines of the city of Nottingham. The consortium included Alstom, Vinci, Keolis and Trent Barton as well as Meridiam and InfraVia as financial investors.

Tramlink took over the existing network which was in operations since 2004 and engaged in a 16.9-km extension under a 23-year DBFM contract. The extended tramway system, fully operational since 2015, now serves all densely populated areas of the city and major destinations such as the University of Nottingham and major mobility hubs.

We invested in the business in 2011 as part of the original consortium and we played a key role in construction management, preparation of operations as well as commercial ramp-up. Following the rebalancing of the concession, and despite the uncertainty brought by the Brexit, we  successfully realized our investment in 2019.
