Based in Helsinki, Aurora, is a Nordic platform investing in industrial electricity distribution assets across the region. Aurora owns and operates the electricity distribution networks of Outokumpu sites in Tornio(Northern Finland) and of the Porvoo industrial complex, of which the strategic Neste refinery is the largest customer.
We created Aurora from scratch and have continuously invested in the business since 2013 on the back of quality industry electricity distribution networks, low-risk RAV-based revenue schemes and the partnership with two major sustainable industrial players. Since our investment, Aurora has successfully executed complex carve-outs with no disruption to the business. We have integrated the two projects into one utility-scale platform, built a dedicated management team, implemented synergies, and have provided the business with our debt financing expertise, delivering on our ambition to build a Nordic platform servicing key industrial clients.
