Case Study – SAVE x InfraVia Capital Partners
From take-off to turbulence and back to clear skies, the SAVE story is one of resilience, partnership and long-term value creation.
After investing in 2017, InfraVia supported SAVE through a significant investment programme, the strengthening of its financing structure and the expansion of its airport platform.
When the Covid pandemic brought global air traffic to an abrupt halt, SAVE demonstrated remarkable resilience, protecting passengers and employees while preserving liquidity and preparing for recovery. By 2024, passenger traffic had exceeded pre-Covid levels.
In 2026, SAVE operates a diversified portfolio of airports across Italy and has established Venice Marco Polo Airport as one of Southern Europe’s key international gateways, serving millions of passengers every year.
In this video, Athanasios Zoulovits, Zeynep Lucchini Gilera, Grégoire de Chammard and Arnaud Delarue look back on an almost ten-year journey shaped by partnership, execution and resilience.
