L\u2019\u00e9quipe dirigeante de Nexrail es compos\u00e9e notamment de Luuk von Meijenfeldt (CEO), Mark Remie (CCO), Bernd Wagner (CTO) et Sophie Langevin (CFO). Le portefeuille actuel se compose d&rsquo;environ 100 locomotives (53 en op\u00e9ration et 50 en construction) d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux march\u00e9s du fret et de la man\u0153uvre en Europe continentale. Le base de clients se situe en Allemagne, en France, en Italie, en Belgique et au Luxembourg.<\/p>\n<p>Le transport ferroviaire joue un r\u00f4le central dans la d\u00e9carbonisation du march\u00e9 du fret en raison de sa faible empreinte carbone par rapport aux autres modes de transport, et ce y compris sur les parties non \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9es du r\u00e9seau. En cons\u00e9quence, les gouvernements europ\u00e9ens s\u2019accordent pour favoriser un report modal de la route vers le rail. Pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau ferroviaire europ\u00e9en n&rsquo;est pas \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9e (r\u00e9seau public et priv\u00e9) et devrait le rester pour des raisons g\u00e9ographiques, de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 (par exemple, exigences op\u00e9rationnelles dans les ports ou les chantiers industriels) ou pour des raisons \u00e9conomiques (faibles volumes de trafic et co\u00fbt des infrastructures d&rsquo;\u00e9lectrification). Nexrail se positionne pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de ce march\u00e9 en rempla\u00e7ant le portefeuille vieillissant de locomotives de man\u0153uvre par de nouvelles locomotives hybrides, modernes qui r\u00e9pondent aux derni\u00e8res normes d&rsquo;\u00e9missions et de consommation de carburant. L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de Nexrail travaille en effet en \u00e9troite collaboration avec les fabricants de moteurs et de locomotives sur leur compatibilit\u00e9 avec les carburants de type HVO et e-fuel, ainsi que sur les applications hydrog\u00e8ne, afin de garantir leur adoption par le march\u00e9 d\u00e8s que ces derni\u00e8res seront commercialement viables.<\/p>\n<p>Nexrail prend possession d\u2019une flotte de 53 locomotives de man\u0153uvre de Vossloh Locomotives. Ces locomotives sont actuellement lou\u00e9es aupr\u00e8s d\u2019op\u00e9rateurs ferroviaires et industriels europ\u00e9ens de premier plan. En parall\u00e8le, Nexrail a \u00e9galement plac\u00e9 une commande de 50 nouvelles locomotives DE 18 Smart Hybrid qui seront livr\u00e9es \u00e0 partir du deuxi\u00e8me trimestre 2023. Les derni\u00e8res innovations de cette locomotive incluent notamment un pack batterie et une homologation multi-pays, dont l\u2019ETCS niveau 2. La DE 18 Smart Hybrid offre de nombreux avantages, tels que des \u00e9conomies de consommation de carburant, des \u00e9missions fortement r\u00e9duites (par exemple NOx), une meilleure efficacit\u00e9 de l\u2019utilisation du moteur et une r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions sonores.<\/p>\n<p>Le financement mis en place pour r\u00e9aliser l\u2019op\u00e9ration a \u00e9t\u00e9 structur\u00e9 par quatre banques r\u00e9put\u00e9es du secteur ferroviaire &#8211; KfW Ipex-Bank GmbH, Landesbank Hessen-Th\u00fcringen Girozentrale, Cr\u00e9dit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank et ABN Amro Bank N.V.
